Guests find it a warm and welcoming base, with a secure garden and thoughtful touches enhancing their stay. While some mention minor issues with maintenance and comfort, the overall experience is positive, with the adjacent pub and the area's natural beauty being highlights.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives praise for its cleanliness, though there are isolated comments about the need for a deeper clean, particularly regarding the sofa, chair, and kitchen utensils. The majority of guests, however, describe the property as spotless and well-presented.

The location is highly regarded, with guests loving the proximity to Lulworth Cove, local pubs, and scenic walks. The convenience of the location for exploring Dorset's attractions is frequently mentioned, contributing to a very positive view of the cottage's setting.

Comfort is generally well-received, with the cottage described as cosy and the beds as great. However, some guests note the lack of a shower and the size of the double bed as drawbacks, slightly impacting the overall comfort score.

Facilities are adequate, with the cottage being well-equipped for most needs. Criticisms focus on the absence of a shower and some maintenance issues like the outside gate and light. The presence of a pub next door is appreciated, although its menu receives mixed reviews.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches such as a bottle of wine, biscuits, and dog treats, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While these gestures are well-received, it is noted that such gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

And lovely garden to sit in. Key safe bit temperamental might need looking at. Little shelf in bathroom radiator side could be helpful.

I am a tall man and sleep in a king sized bed at home but this was a standard double. Everything else was spot on and we couldn’t have had a nicer stay. Cottage is lovely the neighbours were friendly and it is in a great location in the village.
