This stunning cottage is located in the pretty village of Church Knowle and forms the perfect base for families or friends sharing. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, this charming, Grade II-listed cottage boasts traditional features and a large garden that has spectacular views across the Purbeck Hills.
The inside of the cottage offers a traditional farmhouse style which exudes warmth and charm. As you enter the property, you will be welcomed into a hallway with a stone floor. The kitchen is next along and has everything you need to cook up a feast. The dining table is located in the conservatory, with a terracotta tiled floor, comfortable sofa and doors leading out onto the garden. This is the perfect spot where you can sit together for a hearty breakfast to start the day with a spring in your step. The lounge area continues the in same country-cottage style with soft, comfortable sofas, carpets and exposed beams. This cosy space also has a wood burner, perfect for relaxing in front of during the cooler months. There is a games room also which includes a PS3 console and a reading area, perfect for children. The bedrooms on the floors upstairs have reduced height at the eaves, giving them a nice and cosy feel. Here there are two double bedrooms with soothing, neutral decor and wooden furniture accessed by steep stairs. Up onto the second floor, you will find two twin bedrooms with exposed beams; one of the room also boasts a wonderful Victorian ornamental fireplace. The garden which leads from the conservatory features a little patio with garden furniture - ideal for al fresco dining during the summer months whilst overlooking the surrounding countryside. There is parking for 2 cars on the village lane directly in front of the cottage, spaces are not reserved and will be subject to availability.
