Nearby there is golf, gymnasium, fishing, 1 mile, and cycle paths and walking. Within easy driving, the historic towns of Blandford and Salisbury. Visit Longleat House and Safari Park, 22 miles, Stourhead House and Gardens, Kingston Lacey and Yeovil Air Museum, and the New Forest, where ponies roam, and the popular South Coast seaside resorts of Weymouth, 25 miles, Bournemouth and Poole, 22 miles. We had a wonderful holiday in a lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage was just right for my elderly mother who has mobility issues. The owner and family were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equipped and was warm and cosy.

Nice Cottage which is well equipped and clean and an ideal base for visiting attractions,maybe a privacy fence panel out the back would a good idea though.

Loved every minute of it. All of it !! The cottage was lovely with good quality furnishings etc and plenty of outside space which was fantastic as we had a young dachshund with us who had the time of her life ! Thanks to satnav we found the site but without it would not have been so easy. It was ideally situated to visit various local places and attractions. From our initial warm welcome to the time we left we were delighted with our stay .Thank you.The shower in the bathroom was efficient. The shower was not enclosed in any way and there was no warning regarding the small step at the edge of the gentle ramp for wheelchairs up to the toilet.
