Crack open a bottle of bubbly and indulge in a romantic meal for two at the breakfast bar, or make the most of warmer weather with dinner alfresco out on the lawn. Freshen up with a quick rinse in the shower room, before grabbing your towel and heading for the pretty king-size bedroom where you can get ready for the day that lies ahead. Surrounded by the luscious green hills of the Cranborne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many breath-taking walks to embark on throughout your stay. Head to Shaftesbury to explore Melbury Beacon, or dust off your bikes and head for Duncliffe Wood for an exhilarating cycle through the countryside. Take a tour of the grand 17th century mansion of Stourhead and admire the beautiful flowers and foliage that fill the thousand-acre estate. Head to Tisbury and uncover the imposing partially-ruined fortress of Old Wardour Castle, before stopping by the Pseudonatural caves. Upon return to your holiday home, head into the neighbouring village of Semley for an evening of wining and dining down at the local pub, or spend some time in the town of Shaftesbury where you will find the historical cobbled street of Gold Hill and a selection of charming pubs and restaurants.

Semley is a charming and rural village, set within the magnificent landscapes of the Cranborne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a village shop and a local pub serving up hot meals, visitors have all their self-catering needs right on the doorsteps. Be sure to visit the neighbouring towns and villages of Shaftesbury, Tisbury and Gillingham, or travel east to the medieval city of Salisbury, to see the beautiful 13th century cathedral.
