This charming semi-detached cottage has been lovingly refurbished, and offers a delightful combination of period features and thoughtful attractive styling. Winterborne Whitechurch is a pretty Dorset village and an ideal base for exploring the nearby villages and towns, the beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast.
Situated within a beautiful and rural area of Dorset, Little Dorset Cottage has been carefully furnished and prepared with thoughtful touches throughout. With a large inglenook fireplace, guests can enjoy relaxing in front of the wood burning stove whilst watching television or reading a book from the large selection provided. The property has been featured in numerous magazines and was the winner of the Period Living Award for Best Project 2022.
The bright open-plan kitchen includes an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a dining area with table, chairs, and a television. Opening the bi-fold doors extends the kitchen and dining area to include the pretty courtyard garden with its sofa, armchairs and coffee tables, creating a wonderful outside dining space.
Sleeping up to four guests in two attractive bedrooms, and with a stunning bathroom which includes a feature bath and separate shower enclosure, this special little cottage is a great choice for a wonderful Dorset break with family or friends. With numerous opportunities for walking or cycling all around the village and beyond, and a selection of pretty villages within easy reach, the opportunities for exploring are endless. Dorchester, Blandford, Wareham, the Isle of Purbeck, Weymouth Beach and Lulworth Cove are all within easy reach from this perfect little gem.

Please note the adjacent property is undergoing renovation, scheduled to finish at the end of February 2024 and work may take place during your stay. We have not been provided with a schedule of works and it is not consistent. General work hours have been 9am-4pm on weekdays.

Wow! How amazing is this place! Its the little touches and items of interest - such as the pictures and books - as well as the big items like the super comfortable beds and sofas that make this place really special. Olivia has a very special talent that’s for sure! Super cosy with the fire going, definitely would love to stay longer so will be back probably in the Spring or Summer next time. Another great stay in this lovely cottage. Olivia is the perfect hostess, thoughtful and helpful and has decorated beautifully throughout with so many personal touches. Visited Kingston Lacy- beautiful house with stunning furnishings and decor; Lyme Regis pretty, small seaside town, Shaftesbury - stunning views from top of Gold Hill, Pamphill Dairy - nice cafe, deli and a few other shops. Lovely meals at the Golden Fox, Royal Oak and Thimble Inn, fab food and the friendliest staff.
