Snaptrip says

Nestling Barn is a well-received cottage in Devon, praised for its peaceful and beautiful setting, friendly owners, and thoughtful touches like eggs and biscuits. While some guests mentioned minor issues with maintenance and access roads, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with most guests finding it well-presented. However, a few noted dust and spider webs when moving furniture, slightly lowering the score.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views and tranquillity, ideal for exploring Dartmoor and enjoying the countryside. Some guests noted the steep access road, but this did not significantly detract from the overall appreciation of the location.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and a quiet environment. Comments about a noisy bed and a low double bed suggest room for improvement in this area.

The cottage is well-equipped for a pleasant stay, though some guests suggested additions to the kitchenware and garden facilities. Issues with Wi-Fi and mobile signal reception were also mentioned.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing welcome treats like eggs and biscuits. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such extras are subject to change and not guaranteed.

The only noise you hear is the sound of sheep in the fields, so if you like peace and quiet this is the place.

It was so peaceful, just the birds singing and noises from the animals, just bliss .The view was stunning, you could see for miles, as it is quite high up. The only downside was getting there, the road going up to the house had lots of pot holes, although it did state, that the road maybe unsuitable for some vehicles, we were not prepared for what confronted us, also very narrow lanes from Peter Tavy up to the turn off. This would be the only reason we might not come again.
