Every inch the family-friendly escape, this beautiful pond-side lodge sits right in the heart of the Devonshire countryside just back from one of the county’s most scenic lakes. There’s a tastefully styled open-plan living area which opens out to a private veranda, four splendid bedrooms (including a master en-suite) and of course, that all-important private hot tub for soaking the hours away.

An outdoor dining suite on the terrace means you can make the most of warm, sunny days while inside, the stylish fitted kitchen will make cooking for the clan a pleasure. Floor to ceiling windows fill the living space with light, and you’ll love the addition of a log-effect electric stove which adds a cosy feel to cooler evenings. On days when you’re not out exploring the lake and its scenery, you can laze in the sumptuous living room with a good book or magazine, and if it’s BBQ weather you’ll be able to fling open the patio doors and enjoy that all-important indoor / outdoor entertaining. Maple Lodge has a modern décor throughout and features a range of amenities including a large flat screen TV for movie nights in with the whole family.

Being just 100m from the water, the Roadford Lake Lodges resort is all about lakeside living. Surrounded by numerous walking and biking trails, it’s an outdoor adventurer’s dream. The nearby water sports centre is where you'll be able to windsurf, SUP, kayak and sail and there’s also a play park and cafe just a stone's throw away.

* This property caters beautifully to families with young children in tow. A range of baby and toddler-friendly items are provided on request that include a cot, potty, toys, child toilet seats, microwave steriliser, high chair, children’s plates, cups and cutlery

* Two high quality metal bike storage boxes are available on request for £20 per box. Each box can store up to 4 bikes. The dimensions of each box are as follows: Internal height at rear 4ft 4, internal height at front 3ft 8, internal depth 3 foot and internal width 6ft 5.

*Please note that the pond is surrounded by a fence for safety

Parking

The lodge has parking for two to three cars in an allocated space at the front of your lodge.

There are a limited number of additional visitor parking spaces outside reception, on a first come first serve basis

EV Charger Point

The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by VendElectric, and charging will have associated costs as normal via their app. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you park in your lodge car parking space to ensure the EV spaces are free for other guests on the site.
