Set in beautiful countryside with stunning walks and onsite activities including a well stocked fishing lake and indoor swimming pool, which is open between Monday 20th March 2023 and Saturday 2nd September 2023,you can spend the day on site. A drive out to Dartmoor is only 15 miles away and discover the magical moorlands. If you are looking for the beach the seaside Cornish town of Bude is only 18 miles away with its choice of sandy golden beaches and its unique tidal pool and a plethora of shops cafes and restaurants not forgetting the stunning coastal path. Enjoy a day out at RHS Rosemoor only 10 miles away and great for all the family with many different events all year round. Onsite is a gate that leads straight on to the Ruby Trail. The rural beauty and tranquillity of Ruby Country makes it an ideal place to explore on foot. There are many possible routes to follow through breathe taking scenery, with ever changing wildlife, the fresh air and walks will be certain to please your four legged friends too! And after a day of exploring why not book your self into the nearby Gotland Gin HQ outside bar, to sample some of their unique Gin made onsite on their small holding, very popular with the locals and you will find it stocked in many local pubs in the area. As you step onto the private balcony you will access the lodge through the door which leads you into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge offers a large comfy sofa where you can relax after a days fishing and watch a favourite movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a fridge with an ice compartment and a microwave. There is no washing machine in the property but there is an on site laundry room available. There are two bedrooms one is a king size room and there is also a twin room. The family bathroom has a lovely walk in shower and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed decked patio area with patio furniture where you can sit and relax with a morning coffee and plan your day's adventure. Just a short walk down to the fishing lake which also has an area where you can BBQ whilst the children are having fun in the children s play area. Please Note The Swimming Pool is closed during the full month of November each year for maintenance Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size, and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower and WC.
