For those who like to make the most of the surrounding countryside, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes nearby, including the traffic free Tarka Trail, and the wild beauty of Dartmoor. Of course, a trip to Devon would be incomplete without a day at the seaside, and the seaside town of Westward Ho! is just 16 miles to the north of the property, whilst the popular Cornish seaside town of Bude is found twenty one miles to the south west. This former barn has been lovingly converted to offer comfortable, single storey, accommodation for four guests within tranquil countryside surroundings. On entering the cottage, via a few stone steps which lead to the front door, guests will discover the attractive light filled lounge/diner with its wood burner , comfortable seating, dining table, Smart TV/DVD, and doors which open out onto the patio area. The stylish kitchen provides everything that guests will need to make themselves feel at home, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, Smeg fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. There are two restful bedrooms in the property: one super king size bedroom with option of being a twin and 1 double room, whilst the contemporary shower room has a shower and WC. A handy utility room provides extra space if required. Outside, there is a patio directly to rear of the property, with table, chairs, and a charcoal BBQ, making a lovely spot to enjoy the peace and quiet over a drink or alfresco meal. Private wood fired hot tub with countryside views and firewood provided free of charge. Guests also have access to a paddock, which makes an ideal place for playing games and dog walking, whilst a covered barn offers a dartboard, a pool table and air hockey.
