Phoenix Cottage is a spacious characterful cottage tucked away in the quiet lanes leading up from The Quay in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore. With no vehicular access, this, the oldest part of the village has great charm with several character pubs, art galleries, restaurants, chandlers and interesting shops all within the surrounding narrow lanes. The cottage that from an enclosed private courtyard, large kitchen/diner, cosy living room, three comfortable bedrooms and a large family bathroom. A short drive along the coast will bring you to the seaside village of Westward Ho! with its large sandy, surfing beach, pubs, shops and amusement arcades, there is something to keep all the family happy!

Lovely spacious cottage in a great location. There was 5 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room for us all. On Market street, in the centre of Appledore. This is the nicest cottage we have stayed in, in Appledore, would recommend.

We have stayed at this property many times before and it did not disappoint on our return again. We were a party of 6 - grandparents, parents and 2 primary aged children. A fabulous cottage with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay! The owners have clearly put a lot of thought and effort in. Very clean and welcoming and would highly recommend. Situated right in the heart of Appledore - perfect for walks along the quay, crabbing with children and fish and chips! Loads of wonderful days out locally too and beautiful beaches can also all be visited in a day trip - Saunton, Woolacombe, Bude. We hope to be back again! :)
