There is also a permanent king-size bed at the other end of the lodge, where a shower room is also situated. Wander outside to cook on the BBQ or light the fire pit on summer evenings. Swim out to the island in the lake, stroll in the grounds or wander off to dip in the pool, bubble in the hot tub or relax in the sauna, under 0.5 miles away. Head off into Bude to browse in the shops and dine out in pubs and restaurants. Spend time on Summerleaze Beach, where you can enjoy both the sea and the tidal pool. Closer to home, there are some lovely walks at Roadford Lake, 6 miles away.
