Overlooking St Bridget s church and built in c.1820, this converted stable originally formed part of the village rectory. The nearby market town Holsworthy is worth a visit with shops, restaurants, pubs and a weekly pannier market. Within a short distance are the the sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay, slightly further afield are the rugged cliffs of Hartland, Clovelly and Crackington Haven. For cyclists there is the Holsworthy cycle route, or catch a game of golf, go fishing, or just take a leisurely country stroll. For hikers, take a drive to the rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor, it includes Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall. There is something for all the family in the area, including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, The Tamar Otter Park, King Arthur's Tintagel and a selection of National Trust properties. On entering through the front door you will be greeted by the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has super countryside views. The lounge is comfortably furnished and equipped with TV, DVD player, DAB radio with iPod dock. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher to do all the dirty work after cooking. The dining table and chairs are placed for four, for all to enjoy an evening meal together or a hearty breakfast. You will find the two bedrooms on the first floor, a king size and a twin room with views of the rolling local countryside. The modern bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Heading outside you will find a lovely area to sit and relax and take in the views of St Bridget s Church. The shared gardens are a great addition with woodland walks, children s play area and adventure trail. The heated outdoor swimming pool is a favourite along with the all weather tennis court and the shared games room with pool table and table football. There is also a cellar bar (this does not have set opening hours, details will be given on arrival) There is a gravelled parking area for cars. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 double, 1 twin. 1 Bathroom. In line with current government guidance, the tennis court and swimming pool will be available to one party at a time. The games room will remain closed. The outdoor play area is available for use whilst adhering to social distancing. .
