Furnished in cool subtle tones like the rest of the house, it’s a great place for everybody to socialise, whether cooking in the sleek kitchen while other guests are sitting at the dining table or relaxing on the sofas in front of the warming wood burner. Huge French doors in the master bedroom lead out to the terrace which is also the perfect spot for a little al fresco dining on summer evenings, and the much larger shared lawn is a great place for pre-dinner games.

For activities near to home, enjoy pleasant walks along nearby local footpaths or art lessons are also possible on-site on request. The beautiful Tamar Lakes are 8 miles away if you’d like to partake in some water sports and of course, you will also be able to take to the water along the beautifully rugged coast. Have a browse along the quayside of Appledore, 14 miles away, where you can also stop for a bite to eat or hop on the ferry across to the delightful village of Instow.
