Willow Tree Cottage is an attractive conversion, set within the owners grounds, conveniently located to explore both country and coast. Explore the breath taking North Devon and North Cornish coastline with its numerous beaches. Or head off for a scenic forestry walk in the nearby Ruby Country, with many trails to explore. You have the choice of 4 local traditional Devon pubs, all within 4 miles. There are village shops in the nearby Villages of Shebbear and Sheepwash (2.5 miles) Nature lovers will be spellbound when rewarded with sightings of Roe deer, Buzzards, Barn Owls and even Dippers. At night, stargaze into pollution free skies. On site are Shetland ponies, sheep, chickens, and ducks. The North coast is an easy drive, Bude, (15 miles) with sandy beaches, cliff walks, canal, shops/pubs. Horse riding, fishing, golf, archery and alpaca walking can be found nearby too. Dunsland Park, a National Trust property 1 mile, perfect for picnics and walks with 900 years of history. Cycle route number 3 runs right past the site leading to the Ruby Way, Granite way, the Pegasus and the Tarka Trail, all ideal for off road cycling.
