Once a Devon longhouse, now a much loved home with pretty gardens to the front, back and side on different levels (table/chairs, veg patch) with lovely long views over the River Torridge. Gated steps lead down to the Tarka Trail (Bideford’s old railway station - bike hire), 100 yards.

From hall, steep stairs up to landing (low banister, beware!) and four bedrooms – a spacious double (5’ bed) with great view, a twin, and two singles (one with washbasin and hooks for clothes-hanging); bathroom (shower over bath, washbasin); separate loo. Brilliantly convenient for all the town amenities, the Tarka Trail or simply relaxing in the garden.
