Turnstone is about a 2 minute walk away from Bideford’s historic pannier market and is less than a 10 minute walk from the town centre and the river front and port, which was once Britain’s third largest.  Beaches, such as Westward Ho! and Instow, are local hotspot firm favourites and are less than 4 miles away and the South West Coastal Path, which also runs through Westward Ho!, is a must for keen cyclists and walkers! Swimming, surfing, canoeing, entertainment for all the family and fishing are all close by in the locality and the popular Tarka. . .
