Just a few miles from the breathtaking North Devon coast, with many wonderful dog friendly beaches and hidden coves, it is perfect for sunbathing or exploring the rock pools.
With lovely country views from the living space and decking areas, you can really switch off and unwind in this peaceful location, and why not enjoy a spot of fishing on the lakes adjacent to the site (licence required), or take some lovely walks in the nearby woodland.
The popular village of Woolsery is just nearby, with a village store and a post office, village inn and highly acclaimed fish and chip shop. Clovelly with its cobbled streets and donkey transport is just 4 miles away, and there are fantastic beaches for relaxing and surfing at Westward Ho!, Staunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay. Being so close to the Cornish border means it’s a short drive to the bustling resort of Bude, and there are fantastic views on the coastal paths around Hartland Point.
The pretty town of Bideford is just 12 miles, and from here you can take a boat trip to the beautiful marine nature reserve at Lundy Island. There are many National Trust properties close by, and the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor is not to be missed.
There is something for everyone in this stunning location, with country and coastal walking, horse riding, high ropes, zorbing and cycling all on offer close by, and for family fun, The Big Sheep and Milky Way Adventure Park and Wake Park are a must. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

The lodge is exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could need and more. The twin room is thoughtfully stocked with books and reading materials for children, while the rest of the lodge offers a wide selection of books suitable for all ages. There are also board games, a portable DVD player, and a large collection of films—plenty to keep everyone entertained.The kitchen is fully equipped for anything from a simple supper to a full roast dinner, with the added convenience of an air fryer and dishwasher. Parking is safe and secure, and the views from the property are simply second to none. Sunsets and daybreak, in particular, are truly breathtaking.Clovelly is a must-visit, while Appledore is equally beautiful. The more well-known spots of Bude and Bideford are also within easy reach, and Barnstaple is well worth exploring too.With beautiful beaches, wonderful walks, and complete privacy, it could be argued that this cottage offers everything one could want from a relaxing break. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.We have enjoyed many cottage holidays with our hounds, but this is by far the best yet. Highly recommended.

lovely little lodge peaceful , a bit of a drive out if need supplies , roads around the area or narrow lanes that have a lot of uneven roads and potholes , apart from that had a lovely stay

This was by far the worst holiday home we have ever stayed in it had a bad smell of damp and very old thread bare capet cobwebs and mould on the curtains,very poor heating in the lounge and the cooker was the dirtiest we have ever seen.
