This cottage is in a lovely, quiet location with a thirty minute (very steep!) walk to the nearest beach. Some things to note- The wifi was not intermittent (we had it working perfectly for day 1 of the holiday, but then it went off and never came back on for the following 6 days). There is also no phone signal. The nearest shop is a 15-20 minute drive into Kilkhampton (Co-Op).Due to the nature of the isolated location and lack of local shop, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee/milk available on arrival, but no essentials are provided, not even hand soap. The crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment needed washing before use as it was put back in the cupboards unclean.Although the hot tub is for private use, it overlooks the shared car park and garden so people can see you using it.The car park is quite tight if you have a larger vehicle.Although we enjoyed our stay, we would have appreciated knowing these things in advance 😊
