These excellent secluded lodges truly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and covered* hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching.
With Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach all within just 5 miles it is a truly convenient setting from which to explore North Devon and all its attractions. A pub and shops are just a short drive away.

A lovely, tranquil spot in the woods and comfy cabins. The hot tub was excellent and the cabin was warm and cosy with a great heating system. If you like isolation and a simple break, then this is for you. 15 minutes from Bideford or Barnstaple down country lanes where everything you might need is on hand.

Our recent stay at Bulworthy Forest Lodges was our first, and it certainly won’t be our last. We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing week, surrounded by the peaceful tranquility of the secluded woods—ideal for dog walks and unwinding. The hot tub, always a favourite, provided a private and serene space to relax after a day of exploration.Liz was an exceptional host, always available and attentive when needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. The surrounding area offers a wealth of attractions, from the charming town of Bideford, which is immaculately kept and boasts a variety of local shops and cafes, to the stunning, rugged coastline.Clovelly, with its steep hills and cobbled streets, is a must-see for those up for the challenge. The nearby beaches provided us with plenty of space for our dog to roam and enjoy the vast, moody landscapes.Overall, we had a fantastic time, and we’re already looking forward to our Easter visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape and recharge in a peaceful, picturesque location.
