Guests appreciate the secure garden, ideal for dogs, and the convenient location for exploring North Devon. Thoughtful gestures such as welcome packs and treats are frequently mentioned, though not guaranteed. Some minor issues were noted, including limited wardrobe space, occasional maintenance niggles, and a preference for softer mattresses. Overall, guests found it a comfortable and enjoyable base for family holidays and short breaks.

Cleanliness is consistently highlighted as excellent, with multiple guests describing the property as spotlessly clean and well maintained. Only one minor mention of the garden grass not being cut prior to arrival was noted.

Guests found the cottage very comfortable and homely, with spacious rooms and a secure garden. Some minor points were raised about firm mattresses and limited hanging space for clothes, but overall comfort was rated highly.

The property is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and offers good facilities for families and dog owners. Some guests noted the lack of wardrobe space, a missing whisk and jug (since provided), and minor maintenance issues such as a radiator and outside lighting.

We were a small group of women walking the coast path for a few days. As such our use of the property was mainly sleeping and eating meals and relaxing in the evening. The weather was fantastic and we were able to sit on the little balcony where we had a lovely view of the coastline.Generally, the property is well maintained and there are some lovely little touches to make you feel welcome. Chocolates ion the beds and nicely presented loo rolls as well as a nice welcome pack of teas and coffees and fresh local milk. !The Kitchen is generally well equipped but a couple of things that we felt were basic essentials were missing like clingfilm and tinfoil. And there is no tumble dryer which in our case Iwas not missed, but if the weather were wet, then we would have missed it because a walking trip often means arriving back damp and wet when the weather is less favourable. To be fair, I had not spotted this when I made the booking.. The property is situated at the end of an estate in a quiet cul-de-sac. There is parking for two cars and when you were in the property, you didn’t feel like you were on an estate.Overall, very good for our purposes.

The cottage is in a lovely spot with spectacular views over the estuary. We had a great stay and loved how easy it was to reach all of the local tourist spots. The dog loved the garden and sunbathing on the balcony. Thank you for the treats! The only slight concern was ideally the beds could do with a mattress topper. A couple in the party were not keen on the firm mattresses in the two king size beds.Overall a lovely stay and would definitely return
