These excellent secluded lodges truly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and covered* hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching.
With Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach all within just 5 miles it is a truly convenient setting from which to explore North Devon and all its attractions. A pub and shops are just a short drive away.

Wifi service in the area is not consistent nor particularly fast, and hence the service cannot be guaranteed. It is usually sufficient for picking up emails etc but not for streaming films etc. It is sometimes necessary to move around to pick up a signal.

Beautiful lodge set in in a beautiful location. The lodge was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We stayed in Chestnut Lodge. There is a short steep slope up to the lodge which was a little nerve racking to drive up each time! and the road to the lodges is a country lane with some potholes. However, a big thanks to the owner for the fab information booklet (it was full of really useful information) that was emailed prior to our holiday I knew about these so they weren't much of a problem as knew to look out for them. We had Bert and Ernie (Pheasants I named!) visit daily!! As well as other animals that we watched whilst relaxing in the wonderfully spacious hot tub. A week living amongst the trees and the local wildlife = perfect!

This was our third Christmas at Bulworthy, it's a beautiful place, so relaxing with great lodges and hot tubs and very friendly staff.
