Situated in the pretty village of Abbotsham, within easy reach of the South West Coastal Path (2 miles), you can enjoy beautiful walks with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ideally secluded for a romantic break or some simple respite from everyday hustle and bustle, you will feel truly at home in this traditional stone cottage with its character charm, exposed stonework and beams. You can unwind in the open-plan lounge, sitting snugly beside a warming wood burner stove on a chilly evening, watching TV or simply chatting over a glass of wine or two. The dining area set for two is ideally placed by the window where you can enjoy the sunshine or stars. Should you prefer, you can dine alfresco on the patio at the front of the property with its pretty bistro set, or even make use of the BBQ in the pleasant enclosed garden with lawn next to the cottage.

On a clear day, whilst visiting the nearby coast, you will be able to see the lauded Lundy Island on the horizon: home to many species of wildlife. You can take a day trip to the island on the MS Oldenburg which departs from Bideford (3 miles) or visit the Victorian seaside village of Westward Ho! just 3 miles away, named after Charles Kingsley’s novel of the same name. You can walk there, if you wish, by joining the famed South West Coastal Path at Abbotsham Cliffs (2 miles), whilst taking in the stunning scenery of the beautiful rugged coastline en route.
