Just a few minutes drive away is the seaside town of Westward Ho! where there is an impressive two mile wide sandy beach, backed by the sand dunes of Northam Burrows Country Park. For keen golfers there are many local courses to choose from including The Royal North Devon Golf Club in Westward Ho! and Torrington Golf Club both a short drive a way.
