These excellent secluded lodges truly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and covered* hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching.
With Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach all within just 5 miles it is a truly convenient setting from which to explore North Devon and all its attractions. A pub and shops are just a short drive away.

Wifi service in the area is not consistent nor particularly fast, and hence the service cannot be guaranteed. It is usually sufficient for picking up emails etc but not for streaming films etc. It is sometimes necessary to move around to pick up a signal.

A lovely peaceful lodge at the top of the site. Had the essentials, washing machine, dishwasher etc. A jacuzzi bath as well as a hot tub. The hot tub is not over looked by any other lodges. They have thought about the position of the lodges and hot tubs, so they are not on top of each other

We stayed in Acorn which is in a quiet location at the end of the site, the lodges are down a long single track road so arrive in daylight! The lodge was well equipped, clean, comfortable and felt private.. It was lovely to enjoy the birdsong while sitting in the hob tub. We had a minor maintenance issue, which was resolved with an hour - Liz was really helpful and friendly, as was Pez who had loads of great recommendations and local knowledge - there’s also plenty of information in the lodge.

Beautiful lodge and very private. Very clean and has all of the facilities to live there.
