This well-appointed apartment is absolutely stunning bringing real luxury to Devon. It is set within a private gated development close to the centre of the action. This is the perfect spot from which to relax in privacy and style but enjoy a short stroll along Fore Street for shopping and boating.

11 Poundstone really is something special. Take the lift or the stairs up from your private parking area and be wowed as you walk into the luxurious open plan living area with its stunning uninterrupted views of the Salcombe estuary.

Step out onto the balcony which runs the entire length of the living area. There are plenty of comfortable seating and cushions, an extra drinks fridge, outdoor dining area and an electric barbecue. But most importantly of all, drink in the unparalleled panoramic views of the coastline. From the Southpool creek, across to Smalls beach and Mill Bay, and then over the bar and out to sea. It doesn’t get better than this, and it doesn’t matter what the weather is – the views will always be intriguingly beautiful.

The chic master bedroom has a super king bed and en suite shower room with a built in television and sound system so that you don’t miss your favourite shows.

The second bedroom has a kingsize bed and next door a fantastic bathroom with a large bath and separate shower. There is also a built-in television in this bathroom – why not soak in the bubbles and completely chill out watching a film with a glass of vino in hand?

The living area is thoughtfully designed and feels luxurious but very comfortable. At one end the snug sofas are perfect for reading, watching the HD television or simply watching the world go by on the water. There is a stylish fireplace for cooler days and winters evenings. A glass dining table and bench style seating can accommodate up to 6 guests.

The cool kitchen has three stools around the island so you can stay sociable with a drink in hand whilst watching chef get busy in the kitchen! Speaking of the kitchen, it is beautifully designed with all mods cons, a stunning gas cooker and Sophie Conran cutlery and plates to serve up your culinary creations.

Downstairs is a garage with a hosepipe to rinse off wetsuits or muddy boots. Wet weather gear can be hung up to dry and boots put onto the welly rack. Additional baskets and cupboards are useful for hats, gloves, suncream or any of your holiday kit. The garage can be used to store your equipment from paddle boards to golf clubs. You can park inside the garage and there is also one parking space in front of it.

One well behaved dog is very welcome but is restricted to the main living area and balcony. Dogs are not permitted in either of the bedrooms. There is an additional charge.

    Fabulous stay at 11 Poundstone Court. The apartment itself, as well as the communal spaces and grounds, were beautifully presented. Quality linens and towels are always much appreciated, as is a very well equipped kitchen! The location is second to none, with breathtaking views, and the layout of the apartment lends itself very well for two couples; the bedrooms being off different corridors lending extra privacy. We would not hesitate in recommending, and hope to return again.

    We had a wonderful stay. The view from the balcony was incredible! Location was perfect. Short stroll to Fore St and the shops and pubs. Also a nice walk to North Sands and also South Sands. Would love to book again sometime

    Our stay at 11 Poundstone Court was excellent with everything we needed, superb views of the estuary and over Salcombe and was very comfortable. The only real issue we had was the parking space being very tight so parking our Defender was a challenge, but we managed it! We would definitely book this accommodation again though and recommend it to others. Out of 5 we would give it a 5.
