Set within 10 acres of landscaped grounds in the popular estuary town of Kingsbridge, this beautifully appointed home is the perfect South Hams family retreat.

Step inside and you’ll discover a stunning open plan design, with a Devon slate chimney breast and large wood-burning stove forming a dramatic partition between the living areas. Luxuriously carpeted and elegantly furnished, the sitting room has two sink-in linen sofas and a chunky pine centrepiece coffee table. The vaulted ceiling and exposed overhead beams lend a light and airy atmosphere to the space, creating a calm and welcoming place to enjoy an afternoon nap or a good book. West Wing House has three beautiful bedrooms that comfortably accommodate six guests. The master bedroom with its king size carved solid pine bed has its own Heritage suite bathroom, complete with a freestanding rolltop bath and separate cloakroom.The second bedroom is a large double aspect room with carved pine twin beds and the third is furnished with sturdy wooden bunk beds that are ideal for family stays. Outside there are steps to the large slate paved private terrace with its table, six chairs and umbrella. Surrounded by its own herb garden, there's also a Weber gas BBQ and chimnea for outdoor entertaining and dining.

Centrally heated throughout and with many thoughtful extras added including a high-chair, travel cot, stair gate, baby/child crockery & cutlery, miniature chair, games and books; guests can expect to completely relax and unwind during their time at West Charleton Grange. Hairdryers are provided in the master and twin rooms, as well as pool towels and a full log basket, with an additional log store when topping up is needed.

Guests can look forward to many amazing on-site facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool (approximately 10 x 5 metres), The Folly private venue, an indoor games room and a fantastic children’s play area including half an acre of grass playing field, a climbing frame, swings, baby swing, slide and trampoline. The 10 acres of landscaped grounds are set in a private valley with dry stone walls and terracing enhanced with extensive planting. Sheltered paved terraces with a large outdoor sofa are fantastic for relaxing, and a gas BBQ on the main terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and suitable to cook for up to 12 people at one time. In Summer months there’s a wood fired pizza oven in the Victorian walled garden with a tepee tent close by for a great space to keep the children entertained.
