The cottage, facing south with a lovely outlook over the attractive gardens (picnic benches, barbecue area), has been newly refurbished (2015) with comfortable furnishings and relaxed, New England-style decor. From the parking area, brick-paved path and 4 steps up to stable doors to porch; bright, open-plan living (TV/DVD, iPod dock)/dining/neat fitted kitchen (slimline dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge, electric hob/oven) with polished wood floors and pull-down double bed. Upstairs, two bedrooms with pretty garden views – a double, and a twin (linkable to 6’ double); bathroom (suite, shower over bath) and separate loo. Sleeps maximum of 4 adults. A tranquil spot with excellent on-site facilities.
