The property is stylishly elegant with a state-of-the-art kitchen and a sumptuous living/dining area. Perfect for one or two couples there are two bedrooms. The master suite has a King-size bed, and beautiful, fully tiled en suite bathroom with a Kaldewei bath, and spacious separate shower cubicle. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds (that can be zip and linked to create a super King-size bed if requested). There is also family bathroom with Kaldewei bath and shower (over).
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.

Apartment very comfortable and in great location. Some things which could do with attention, the oven tripped out a couple of times with no apparent reason, the seal around the window has perished in a few areas, loo roll holder in en-suite has worn down so difficult to replace toilet roll. Minor things, easy to put right. Would definitely stay again. Also staff in Coast and Country Cottages in Dartmouth were lovely and very helpful!

And the view was amazing obviously. We were there for a Christmas break and so pleased at how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils and glasses we needed to entertain, plus a lovely surprise of a Christmas tree, thank you. Defo recommend and book again.

Perfect position for just relaxing at the window, always something to watch from the riverside, be it with a coffee, a glass of wine, a book or a crossword! An easy walk into town and a good bus service from there. We no longer drive the distance from Essex & use the excellent GWR train service & arrange a local taxi from Totnes to Dartmouth! Canât wait to come back next year!
