One of only three attractive cottages approached by a private driveway, Chauffeur's Cottage offers spacious and attractive accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with an opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside including enjoying the wonderful views down the valley and out to sea. Footpaths offering truly inspiring walks along the river, over wooded valleys and towards Heddons Mouth and Woody Bay are all on your door step. Magnificent high cliffs, and hidden sand and shingle coves can be found all along the dramatic Exmoor coast whilst wide sandy surfing beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde are within an hours drive.

In 20 years of staying in cabins or lodges in the Devon and Cornwall areas, NOTHING can compare with chauffeurs cottage. The quality, attention to detail and cleanliness of the cottage is first class. The location could not be any better and the owners are fantastic. I always hope for the best but this honestly exceeded all expectations. I cant imagine that anyone would not be blown away by this cottage. Make a point of watching the sunset from the outside seating at least once in your stay, its beautiful.

Had a delightful week in chauffeur’s cottage. Stunning location and very high quality accommodation. Planning to make a return visit at some point. Would recommend to anyone wanting a holiday in North Devon.
