Guests consistently praise the welcoming hosts, the well-equipped kitchen, and the popular snooker room. The property’s rural location provides tranquillity and access to scenic walks, while the thoughtful touches on arrival are much appreciated. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues and challenges for those with limited mobility due to steps and changing levels, but overall, the farmhouse delivers a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Most guests found the property very clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated reports of missed cleaning details such as dog hair and leftover items. These issues appear to have been addressed promptly by the owners.

The rural, secluded setting is highly praised for its peace, stunning views, and proximity to nature. While some found the remoteness challenging for shopping or outings, most valued the tranquillity and beautiful surroundings.

Guests found the farmhouse spacious and comfortable, with good heating and beds. The layout, with steps and varying levels, may pose difficulties for those with mobility issues or young children, but most found it suitable for family gatherings.

The snooker room, kitchen, and overall amenities are frequently highlighted as excellent. Some guests noted occasional shortages of kitchen items and minor maintenance issues (e.g., bathroom locks, dishwasher), but these were not widespread.

We were 5 adults and two teenagers plus a dog, and we absolutely loved our stay. We'd read all the reviews and looked at the location so were looking forward to the farmhouse enormously and it was even better than we'd hoped. We were very lucky with the weather so could enjoy the grounds and local area at its bluebelly best, but with the space, amenities and snooker room we would have had a great time even if it were cold and wet outside. It was easy to get into South Molton for supplies, and the community store in North Molton is a great shop and concept. One thing I did notice was that the negatives some earlier guests had noted were not there on our visit ( lacking glasses, dog hair in the hoover etc) which shows the owners react immediately to any issues raised and fix them.It is an old building, and has a unique layout that does have steps and changing levels, and one set of maybe a dozen stair steps it was not difficult to get everywhere, and although my personal mobility is challenged it wasn't a big deal. The descriptions were very accurate, the lemon cake we were given on arrival was fantastic and the owners were unobtrusive but we there if we needed them. The only place we went to was Caffyns cider farm for some of us to ride horses and the rest to try the cider and have probably the best ploughmans I've ever seen, and we also stopped off in Lynmouth.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse. It was well equipped and set in a beautiful location. There was plenty of space to be together or to do our own thing. We also had some fun trying to play snooker.Donna the host was very quick in replying and was very helpful. We had a lovely welcome pack which was appreciated, and the cake was delicious! We would definitely stay again.
