We found Keepers Lodge excellent accommodation and very homely and great furnishings. Log fire at new year made it very homely. Our only gripe was for the four of us was the fridge was only an under the counter one which to house food as well as wine/beer/soft drinks for our duration was far too sm.... Could do with a free standing wine chiller. Plenty of room for one as the kitchen area is huge! Also only 4 cups 4 knives & forks which after every use we had to wash them up for the next use through the day. This may seem nit picking but became frustrating as all other crockery which was plentiful went in dishwasher for the day but couldn't put utensils in as you needed them again!

We stayed here over Christmas 24, as soon as we opened the door we felt at home. Everything has been modernised yet still holds its traditional look and feel. Everything we could need was avaliable, Hosts were excellent, very friendly and happy to help. Would definitely recommend will definitely b.... This was the best self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. The cottage was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Both bedrooms and en-suite were fantastic. The log fire was so cosy. Despite being only a couple of miles from the main road, the drive to the cottage on narrow hilly country roa.... This was the best self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Despite being only a couple of miles from the main road, the drive to the cottage on narrow hilly country roads was not the easiest and wish I had a 4x4, but we got used to it. The beautiful cottage more than made up for the drive.
