Use of wheelbarrow when we arrived late and weary on first night was very helpful. The logs and kindling were good quality, and much fun heating the hot-tub. Was sceptical about the heat being retained, but absolutely true!! Must get one for home!

Having booked a birthday meal in the Mason's arms we found Hawkings Hideaway and booked it. Due to the inclement weather we we were upgraded to the Tumbledown barn which was excellent. We had planned the short walk to the restaurant but (again due to the weather) our hosts very kindly offered to drop us off and pick us up which we gladly accepted. Although we didn't get to stay in the hideaway we did have a look and plan to try again later in the year.
