Living/dining room with Smart TV with Freesat, DVD player and DAB Radio with dock for iPhone. Kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Bedroom 1 with King and Single beds and DAB radio/alarm. Bathroom with bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and basin.
Spiral staircase to First Floor:
Bedroom 2 with twin beds (guests occupying this room must be capable of using an emergency escape window and ladder in case of fire: no unaccompanied children are permitted to sleep in this room) and DAB radio/alarm.

Linen and towels. Oil CH. No smoking. Free Superfast Wi-Fi.
Utility room containing washing machine and dryer - shared with the other two holiday cottages.

We had a brilliant time at Game Keeper’s Cottage. Location was amazing with stunning views & very peaceful setting. Getting to the cottage was interesting, the lanes are very tight & steep but well worth it when you arrive. The cottage was immaculate & very well stocked with everything you need to.... Getting to the cottage was interesting, the lanes are very tight & steep but well worth it when you arrive. The cottage was immaculate & very well stocked with everything you need to be comfortable & self cater. Particular highlight for the kids was using the air fryer! Sleeping arrangements are flexible with a very large double room which includes a single bed & twin room upstairs. Please note there is a metal spiral staircase up to the twin room & balcony. We had a super visit & would highly recommend. Thanks Alan & James for welcoming us & our lovely tray.

If you are seeking a relaxing, silent and peaceful self-catering break - Martinhoe Cleave cottages are ideal. The location, off the beaten track in the hills above Heddon Valley, is truly beautiful. We stayed in the Gamekeepers Cottage - very well appointed, clean, generous rooms with everything you.... If you are seeking a relaxing, silent and peaceful self-catering break - Martinhoe Cleave cottages are ideal. The location, off the beaten track in the hills above Heddon Valley, is truly beautiful. We stayed in the Gamekeepers Cottage - very well appointed, clean, generous rooms with everything you could need. Highlights include a huge bedroom downstairs (small one upstairs), massive bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath, well thought out kitchen and cosy seating area - plus a enclosed garden area for our greyhound to stretch his legs. Heddon Valley walks and the Hunters Inn are a short (but steep) walk away - for anywhere else you will need the car. We needed a break in peace and quiet and to re-charge - and this wonderful cottage delivered everything we needed and more
