Ideal for both beginners and pros, its waves draw a local and global surfing fraternity all year round, with smaller sets in summer just right for first-timers, and the biggest swells rolling in during autumn and winter.

For those who prefer sunbathing and sandcastle building, 3 miles of beach make it an excellent spot for family days out, and with low tide exposing a wealth of rock pools, little explorers can get up close to the coast’s marine life too. Well-known for its smaller beaches too, the area boasts several sheltered bays including Barricane and Lee Bay.
