The apartment is conveniently arranged all on a single level, with a spacious open-plan living area that includes a well-lit and comfortable lounge featuring two inviting sofas, a TV with Freeview, and a DVD player. Off the lounge, there's a generously sized balcony with a decked floor, offering partial sea views. A dining table, seating up to 5, provides a lovely space for leisurely breakfasts or evening meals. For families with infants, a high chair is available upon request.
The modern kitchen, though compact, is well-equipped with everything necessary for a self-catering holiday. It includes appliances like an electric oven with a gas hob, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, and a microwave. In a hallway cupboard, you'll find a tumble dryer and an assortment of beach equipment, including buckets and spades.
The two bedrooms in this apartment consist of a spacious Master Bedroom featuring a king-size double bed, ample storage space, and its own ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is designed with bunk beds and cosy bean bags, making it a delightful choice for children. If needed, a travel cot can be provided, but please request it at the time of booking, and remember to bring your cot bedding.
A separate family bathroom completes the accommodation, equipped with a bath, WC, and basin.

We have lost count of our visits to Number 8, DBC! We like to visit out of season and somehow we always seem to get good weather. We just love the view and sound of the sea from the balcony. The accommodation is warm and comfortable with all the essentials provided including wine and biscuits. Th.... We have lost count of our visits to Number 8, DBC! We like to visit out of season and somehow we always seem to get good weather. We just love the view and sound of the sea from the balcony. The accommodation is warm and comfortable with all the essentials provided including wine and biscuits. The apartment is a short walk from the village centre - perfect for a pre breakfast stroll to the Beachcomber Cafe followed by a bracing walk on the beach. Thank you to Jenny for another lovely stay. We have stayed in the same apartment many times - need I say more? Clean, warm, short walk to the village centre and beach, free parking, and friendly host. We will be back again soon.

This is quite honestly the best-equipped, cleanest, best-designed, best-located holiday apartment or house that I have stayed in. An allocated parking space was a real bonus and to find tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine on arrival was just brilliant . After a day walking the South-Coas.... An allocated parking space was a real bonus and to find tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine on arrival was just brilliant . After a day walking the South-Coast path or paddling to Putsborough, there’s even a lift for tired legs! I had such a happy week by the sea - the weather was on my side, but there is always plenty to do and see, especially if the wind and waves are right for surfing. Thank you all so much.
