Coast View is a wonderfully stylish luxury holiday home in Woolacombe. The five-bedroom property easily sleeps up to ten guests who will enjoy being within walking distance of the sandy beach and the South West Coast footpath. The house comfortably accommodates up to ten people in five bedrooms, with a layout that makes it perfect for large or extended families and groups of friends.

North Devon's beaches are famous for their soft sands, clean water and picturesque views. Award-winning Woolacombe stretches for three miles between Barricane Beach and Putsborough beaches and is a favourite with families and surfers. The village, which is also within walking distance of Coast View, has a great choice of amenities that include friendly pubs, shops, cafes and a small supermarket. A wider variety is in nearby Ilfracombe, and it is possible to have your groceries delivered directly to the house for guests who prefer to order online before they arrive. Woolacombe in the summer is a lively, fun place to be, while in autumn and winter it is quiet and peaceful, with just the odd storm over the water to provide the excitement.

Some guests at Coast View simply park their car and forget about it for the duration of their stay, not venturing further than where they can reach on foot or by bike, which is understandable given the amount there is to see and do in the area. Those who want to explore further than that can discover historic towns and villages like Barnstaple and Clovelly, get their thrills at the Milky Way Adventure Park or meet the animals at Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. There are museums and farmers markets, gardens and quirky independent shops. With so much to see indoors and out, Coast View is a beachside holiday home for all seasons.

Accommodation Comprises:

Coast View is a spacious self-catering cottage in North Devon, with accommodation over three levels. Fixtures and furnishings are of a high standard, with the owners taking care of the details to ensure their guests love their stay.

Downstairs:

Light, bright living room with windows that amplify the space and frame the ocean views. The white walls are a contrast to the stripped oak floorboards and beam, while the furnishings complement the seaside location. There is a log burner for cold weather and a big L-shaped sofa where guests can settle back and enjoy a film on the flatscreen TV.

Conservatory with wicker furniture and sea views from every window. It's a great place to enjoy a morning cup of tea or to watch the drama of a winter storm.

Snug with French doors that open to provide access to the wooden terrace with its hot tub and sun loungers. The furnishings have been chosen with younger guests in mind, with a sofa and bean bags, a choice of games and books, and a TV.

Open plan kitchen/diner where people love to congregate to cook, eat and chat. Granite worktops and modern appliances complement the slate floors and contemporary furniture to give the room a fresh vibe, and glass doors open onto the patio and garden at the rear of the house.

Two family bathrooms are on the ground floor. Both are tiled, with walk-in showers and generously-sized rainfall heads, heated towel rail, WC and a handbasin.

Upstairs:

Double bedroom with a king-sized bed, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. Dual aspect windows showcase fantastic views of the beach and the water.

Second double bedroom with a king-sized bed, wardrobe and dressing table. French doors open onto a private balcony with more incredible views.

Bunk bedroom with full-sized (3ft-wide) single bunk beds and a chest of drawers. The nautical decor is a hit with children.

Luxurious family bathroom with a double-ended bath, heated towel rail, WC and handbasin.

Top Floor:

There are two bedrooms on the top floor, separated by a sliding door. The top floor works well as a family suite.

Double bedroom with a Velux window, built-in wardrobe and dressing table. Ensuite cloakroom with a WC and handbasin.

Twin room accessed via the other bedroom. It has two full-sized single beds, a Velux window and sea views.

Outside: The ocean views are as impressive outside as within, and how better to enjoy them than by relaxing in an outdoor hot tub or on a sun lounger? The rear of the property is more private, with a quiet garden that has both a small patio with garden furniture and a large area of lawn. There is off-street parking for several cars at the front of the house.

Additional Information: Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome through prior arrangement. All utilities, sheets and bath towels are provided, with guests to supply beach towels. A cot (no bedding) and high chair are available if needed - please request when booking. Short breaks are possible outside of school holidays. Smoking is not permitted.
