Ideal for a family or small group, this pet friendly house is ideal as all the highlights of Combe Martin are within easy walking distance of the house. The house is well laid out for family life and has the added bonus of an enclosed courtyard garden. Perfect for sitting out on a balmy evening and keeping your four legged friend safe. Combe Martin is a popular location, the village centre has a good range of shops, places to eat, local pubs and of course a great beach, renowned for its excellent rock pools. Combe Martin is also a popular area for sea kayaking and there are local shops with guides who will help you explore this very interesting and dramatic coastline from the sea.There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the house that will add to your holiday experience. These include the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The house is lovely and spacious. Had everything we needed. Welcome gift for us & the dogs was appreciated. Garden secure so could leave kitchen door open so dogs could go out at their leasure. Downstairs toilet was a surprise as details didn't say there was one. Five of us stayed with dogs & had a great time. Well located - beaches 5/10 minutes walk away. Close drive to other lovely beaches and towns. Local shops for amenities & large tesco only 25 minutes away. Would happily stay here again.

A lovely home from home where we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived.Excellent communication with the owner prior to our arrival and the welcome gifts were a lovely touch.The lane is a bit tight but we managed to park both cars on the drive.The house is in a lovely position to walk into Combe Martin but can easily drive to Ilfracombe, Lynton and Barnstaple.Overall a lovely house which we would certainly return to if in the area and would definitely recommend.

Newhaven was very spacious and well equipped, perfect for our family of four. The books, games and dvds were helpful on the rainy days and the cream tea was a welcome treat. The owner was very quick to answer my questions before our arrival. We would stay here again and recommend to others.
