With stunning views out to sea, this fabulous apartment provides excellent accommodation in the town of Ilfracombe on the North Devon Coast. With the towns’ amenities on your doorstep this is apartment is a great choice for a family holiday. There are two lovely bedrooms, the master benefitting from an en suite and doors leading onto the balcony, just perfect for that morning coffee before the day begins. The second bedroom enjoys a Juliette balcony, so nice and safe for the little ones. The open plan living area is modern and comfortable and where you can slide open the balcony doors and enjoy the sea air while you dine together.
Ilfracombe is full of Victorian charm and bustles with life ensuring that there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. An abundance of cafes and pub/restaurants means that the cooking can be left at home! The beautiful harbour area is ideal for sitting by over lunch and you can hop on a boat to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island or seal spotting on a cruise along the North Devon coastline. For the young and young at heart, there is plenty of nightly entertainment. Full of history, this is a wonderful town to explore and a visit to the Tunnels Beach should not be missed.
There is a small sandy beach nearby or a short drive will take you to Woolacombe, Croyde or Saunton, each offering beautiful stretches of golden sands, safe waters and surfing waves. The historic market towns of Barnstaple and Bideford are within easy reach and offer some good shopping and nightlife. Ilfracombe is also close to Exmoor National Park which boasts miles of rolling landscape and hidden villages, perfect for walking or cycling lovers. With so much to see and explore in this beautiful part of Devon, this apartment will have you returning again and again!
Ilfracombe lies in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a beautiful stretch of North Devon coastline, with five beaches and a pretty harbour now famous for the Damien Hirst bronze statue ‘Whoever’ that stands guard over the entrance. Once a Victorian retreat. the town is now a vibrant and popular resort with a fine variety of restaurants, cafes and shops in the town. The hand carved Tunnels Beaches offers some of the best rockpooling to be found and is also a busy wedding venue.

Spacious, light and airy and equipped with top quality contents. But itâs the location/position which moves to a different level. We were fortunate to benefit from good weather so the sea looked a wonderful shade of blue and that spectacular view is always there and constantly draws the eye. In 35 years of staying in cottages/apartments - definitely one of my favourites properties.

We enjoyed watching a pod of harbour porpoise from the balcony one evening. The apartment is clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. We were visiting from Manchester so quite a long way from home. The master bedroom is an absolute delight with en-suite and lots of light. The sitting room and both bedrooms have sea views. There is parking on the street just outside. There is a carpark but only available to residents. I will definitely be hoping to book this accommodation again in the future and have already recommended it to friends and family. The only two negatives (just for a balanced review) there was no information about local amenities and the balconies were very slippery when wet.
