ilfracombe 2 coburg villas overview
Designed with couples in mind this is the ideal romantic getaway in an upmarket, stylish house refurbished to exacting standards. Originally a four bedroom house the house now offers open plan sumptuous accommodation, reminiscent of warehouse conversions, with access to outside space and stunning views on the first and second floors.
This perfectly located holiday home is set back off Fore Street in the heart of the bustling seaside town of Ilfracombe with its heritage harbour and quay. The many pubs, restaurants and shops that create a lively, friendly atmosphere are only a couple of minutes walk away.
From inside - and outdoors - guests are offered fabulous views of Ilfracombe harbour and the rugged coastline beyond. You can even spot Damien Hirst’s impressive “Verity” sculpture through the stunning arched window in the main living area.
This quirky property is set over 4 floors, with a look out at the top through a 'secret staircase' from the master bedroom. Beautifully appointed throughout, the accommodation is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with internet access and bath towels included. There is more than enough space for four people or families with informal sleeping for 2 extra people on a high spec double futon in the living room (linen is an add to basket item).
This property offers the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful area of North Devon.

Great stay in Ilfracombe. Very spacious property with incredible views of the harbour. And I loved the little touches like the handmade soap. Thank you! Very close to all restaurants and attractions. Would stay again.

Luxuriously quirky and dramatic This feels a bit like a landmark Trust property. When you are sitting on the roof terrace with a beer on a sunny September evening, you find yourself surveying this unusually concentrated vista that packs everything in ...the town's rooftops, the rugged coast line and sections of seascape. In short, the working day could not be further away.
