Once the evening draws to a close, choose from three well-presented bedrooms, set up as a king-size, double and twin. Each bedroom houses a range of furniture for storing your personal belongings and bedside tables with lamps for some late night reading. You can benefit from the family bathroom which is equipped with a Jacuzzi type bath so you can enjoy a spot of luxury after a long and tiring day. During the summer months, venture out to the large enclosed decking area where you can dine alfresco at the outdoor table and chairs, take in the distant sea views, or take a cup of tea and watch the sun rise over the surrounding woodland. There are also a number of facilities available on-site to you which include a heated indoor swimming pool open all year and outdoor pool open in the summer months, sauna, restaurant and bar. A short drive away is the village of Combe Martin which comes with a selection of pubs and restaurants for those fine dining opportunities. Just a 10 minute drive away is the bustling seaside town of Ilfracombe which is rich with attractions such as Ilfracombe Museum which comes with an eclectic range of historical artefacts. You will be close to some of the best surfing beaches in North Devon including Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton which are also perfect for a family day out; or choose to explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Barnstaple is a 20 minutes’ drive away and has glorious parks, a shopping centre, leisure centre, theatre, cinema, museum and a 6 days a week indoor Pannier Market, and Watermouth is perfectly located for exploring North Devon's scenic coast, countryside, and Exmoor National Park. Harbour Lodge is only minutes walk from the famous South West Coast Path. Watermouth Castle is a couple of minutes walk away from the lodge and is a hugely prominent structure with views across the coastline making it an excellent day trip.
