A spacious, two bedroom detached lodge with enclosed decking, located in a select holiday park just 2 minutes’ drive from the nearest beach and 2 miles from Ilfracombe’s quaint harbour.. All on the

Located just 2 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe and within half a mile of Hele Beach with its gorgeous bay, is this lovely, two bedroom detached lodge. It has ample space for four people, with accommodation comprising a kingsize bedroom with a TV and an en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom with TV. There’s also a shower room, and the open plan living space is spacious and airy, with a Smart TV and Firestick, and a contemporary remote controlled electric fire, plus patio doors leading out onto the spacious decking. The kitchen has all that you’ll need for your stay. Outside you’ll find an enclosed decking area to two sides with furniture for you to enjoy al fresco dining and there’s ample unallocated on road parking. The park, which is extremely well maintained, offers additional facilities such as a kids play park, toilet block and showers, laundry, recycling and dog washing stations.
Ilfracombe Harbour and port, which dates back to at least the 12th century, offers quality ice cream, fish & chips, and various craft shops and art galleries to enjoy, plus Damien Hirst’s ’Verity’ statue which is a must see. The surrounding area has many attractions waiting to be discovered such as Cairn Woodland Nature Reserve, Hillsborough and Rapperee Cove, The Torrs, Watermouth Bay and the South West Coast Path. Then there’s the lovely Fuchsia Valley and for the family, Watermouth Castle and Theme Park. Why not take a trip to Lundy Island or enjoy coastal cruises, fishing, sea-life safaris and diving which are all available locally?
Ilfracombe is also perfectly situated to the enjoy the countless other North Devon attractions such as the popular Tarka Trail, which provides the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery, stretching from Barnstaple through to Bideford and beyond. If you don’t fancy cooking after a full day out, then there are several good quality and popular restaurants to try out in Ilfracombe, many of which are regularly visited by locals from all over North Devon for their tasty local and ethnic fayre.

Elm lodge was excellent well equipped and very comfortable. The site was well maintained and a mixture of lodges, mobile homes and caravans. The site was situated in a valley hence its name but local beach and pub were nearby. A walk initially uphill then downhill to ilfarcombe harbour about a 15 minute walk.

Elm lodge in Hele valley is an amazing home stay the lodge an site are so well look after plus the lodge has everything you could ever need site staff are friendly and really care for park will recommend to all and definitely be going back
