Moreover, there is a Wildlife and Dinosaur Park right there in town for you to enjoy! The town of Combe Martin hosts the annual Earl of Rone festival in May and a funfair in August. Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple are all within driving distance, making this an excellent home base for exploring North Devon. As an added bonus, there are several gardens and houses owned by the National Trust that can be visited.
