Bullen’s Rock is a stylish, three bedroom, ground floor apartment with breath-taking sea views, situated in the heart of the popular seaside town of Ilfracombe, close to it’s pretty harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants, and four nearby beaches to choose from.
An ideal base from which to explore the South West Coast Path, Exmoor National Park and the beaches of the North Devon coastline, such as Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. There are also plenty of sporting activities close by including the Tarka Trail, a choice of five local golf courses, as well as fishing, riding and walking. Here you are perfectly placed to explore the whole of Devon and also parts of Somerset too.
Upon entering the apartment, guests will instantly feel relaxed as they admire the panoramic sea views from the open-plan living space. With the French doors opening out onto a glass Juliet balcony, this the perfect place to admire the stunning vista of waves crashing onto the rocks below and boats passing by. The sleek and stylish kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and is fully equipped. After a fun-filled day exploring, you can kick back on the plush sofas and relax in front of the 40" Smart TV. Guests will get a good night’s sleep in the beautifully furnished bedrooms. The master bedroom has beautiful sea views with a seating area, a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room featuring a large walk-in shower and two wash basins.
Bullen’s Rock is a fantastic base for exploring all that North Devon has to offer. Just a short stroll from the apartment brings you to the bustling harbour area. Ilfracombe has plenty to offer holidaymakers, so much so that some may prefer to leave their car parked up and spend the days wandering the town’s streets, browsing the shops, sampling the local seafood, relaxing at the beach or paying a visit to the interesting aquarium. Jump aboard one of the pleasure boat cruises that depart from the harbour and take in this beautiful coastline, or even take a day trip to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island.
For those who want to explore a bit further afield, the surrounding area is rich in attractions and places of interest, including Lynton and Lynmouth, Heddons Mouth, the picturesque coastal surfing village of Woolacombe, which boasts a 3-mile long, golden sandy beach and the spectacular beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde. For us (my mother, my aunt, and myself, from Utrecht, The Netherlands), this was a trip down memory lane. My (Dutch) aunt—the third of the sisters—moved here about 60 years ago and married a local from Ilfracombe. We spent many, many holidays here over the years. However, it had been a long time since our last visit, as my aunt used to travel to the Netherlands twice a year. She is now 87 and no longer makes those trips, so it was time for us to come to Ilfracombe. We had a fantastic week, not least because of the amazing apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated. And then there’s the bonus: the view. Incredibly beautiful and different every day—rough seas, calm seas; sailboats, motorboats, and kayakers.We also saw a lot of the surrounding area and revisited many memories: Woolacombe, Combe Martin, Croyde, and Saunton Sands (go there for afternoon tea if that’s your thing). For dining out: The Smugglers, and delicious Italian food at Giovanni and Luca. For a great view, try the rooftop at Collingwood.A lovely pub: The Thatched Inn. After walking up the hill, you’ve certainly earned a drink!Jason, thank you for all the information beforehand, as well as the flowers, milk, and Prosecco! It was such a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. Thank you! We hope to come back again someday.Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: the weather was amazing too—we even had a few days with temperatures of 22 degrees!

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. It could not be in a better location, literally on the coastline and about a minutes walk from the harbour. I doubt we will ever have a better outlook from any accommodation we stay in in the future.We parked in Ropery road car park, just two streets away, and bought a 7 day pass from the Council. There is no parking at the apartment as all the spaces are taken up by permit holders or disabled badge holders, but you can drop off your luggage.I'd recommend this accommodation for those visiting this area.

Absolutely stunning apartment within a stunning location of Ilfracombe.. you cannot/could not want to get closer to the sea.. apartment furnished to a very high standard and the owners very helpful planning your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Good locations for shops and pubs whilst exploring surrounding Ex-moor national park and coastal villages - my advice would be to buy a weekly parking pass, as the property does not provide parking- but this can be used in various locations throughout the area, including the stunning Lynmouth and Lynton
