We stayed in Sea Foam House at the end of June and had the most fabulous week. The location is amazing, overlooking the harbour, close to the best of the restaurants and shops and the tide provided an ever-changing view. The house itself was spotlessly clean, well equipped with all the essentials needed and brilliantly appointed. We stayed with our dog and it was perfect for dog owners. The terrace outside was completely enclosed and the sea wall high enough for him to stand on his hind legs and watch the comings and goings on the beach. When the tide was out, it revealed a small but perfectly sized beach for dog walking and paddling and you could even walk across the sand and out to the sea, past the harbour wall and see the Damien Hirst statue and rocks for exploring, from a completely different angle. Obviously good weather always makes a huge difference, but staying when the weather is fine means you can use the terrace and take in the views, which is the house's biggest draw. We loved it, we didn't want to leave and we will most definitely be returning, maybe this time with friends.
