This spacious and well-equipped privately owned lodge is situated on the Watermouth Lodges Holiday Park, above picturesque Watermouth harbour and castle, near Berrynarbour and resting between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. Perfect for families, a group of friends and walkers, this lodge is a promising choice all-year-round. All of the extras you can find on-site, including a restaurant, small shop and children’s play area. Internally, the open plan living area offers a social space for all to gather and discuss the day’s activities, or to begin planning another adventure. The kitchen is well-equipped for family cooking which can be enjoyed at the dining table. The bedrooms comprise of a large master bedroom with king-size bed and a sofa bed if required, and en-suite facilities, plus one double bedroom and a twin, which have easy access to the family bathroom. Outside is a gated lawned garden with a decking area where you can enjoy an alfresco meal one evening. The beach and causeway at Combe Martin (5 minutes away), Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands and numerous others are all within a few miles and are worth visiting, as well as Somerset World Wildlife Rescue. Based within the Exmoor National Park, famous for some of the most picturesque scenery, walkers can take advantage of the trails and wildlife, with access to the South West Coast Path and Coleridge Way. Alternatively, stay along the coastline and visit the nearby bustling Ilfracombe, which has a lively seafront, several restaurants, a theatre and award-winning Tunnels Beach. Nestled at the coastal end of the beautiful Sterridge Valley, and surrounded dense woodlands and farms, is the picturesque village of Berrynarbor. The surrounding country fields, small neighbouring bays and paths make it an idyllic spot for a very peaceful holiday. The village has a friendly atmosphere, a well stocked shop and pub serving food.
