The village of Croyde is just around the corner, 5 minutes away by car, with traditional pubs serving great food, surf clothing shops, grocery store, surf equipment hire and a Post Office. Saunton and Woolacombe are just a few miles away. Clifton court 20 really is the perfect seaside escape for families, couples and friends.

living areas

Enter the property, through the double glazed front door, into the entrance lobby where there is ample storage for coats and outdoor footwear. This in turn leads onto the main corridor of the apartment from which all other rooms are reached. Your eye is drawn down to the arched window at the end, where you get your first glimpse of the dining and social areas.

The double aspect open plan space offers a fantastic view of Putsborough Beach through large double glazed balcony doors and good sized picture windows. There is a large sofa and 2 armchairs that provide comfortable seating for 6 people. A flat screen TV with freeview, DVD and VHS players and CD player provide the entertainment hardware and, in addition, a selection of CDs, DVDs, VHS videos, games and reading books have been thoughtfully provided. Guests can continue to enjoy the view whilst dining around the solid wood extending table that comfortably accommodates 6 (8 when extended).

kitchen

clifton court 20 has a modern kitchen, the solid floor and light corian work surface compliment the limed oak units to give a contemporary feel to this well equipped and stylish kitchen. All the usual essentials are to be found here, such as a dishwasher, washing machine, separate fridge & freezer, oven & grill, hob, microwave, kettle, 4 slice toaster, down to thoughtful additions like a coffee maker, grinder, children’s cutlery & crockery. Tumble drying facilities, if required, may be found in the shared utility/drying room by the indoor swimming pool.

bedrooms

Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom suite and has a view to die for. This large double room with king size bed overlooks Putsborough beach with stunning views out to Woolacombe and Morte Point. The fully tiled en-suite contains a large shower enclosure with W/C and pedestal wash basin. Fully fitted wardrobes provide ample storage for guests lucky enough to be in this room. There is also a large wall mounted full length mirror for convenience.

Bedroom 2 is the first room on the left hand side as you enter the apartment. A really good sized double aspect twin room that enjoys views over the rolling fields to the side of Clifton Court and benefits from an en suite shower room with wash basin. The fitted wardrobes provide plenty of hanging and storage space. There is also a TV with DVD and VHS that provides a useful second entertainment facility.

Bedroom 3 is opposite bedroom 2 and comprises a single bed with trundle below. A large freestanding solid wood wardrobe ensures guests have plenty of hanging and drawer space. In addition to the bedside table there is also a dressing table with pine mirror over.

bathrooms

The family bathroom provides guests with the option of either luxuriating in a hot bath or using the power shower over to freshen up after a hard days surfing or sunbathing at the beach. In addition, this good sized room provides a wash basin with large mirror over, heated towel rail and a low level W/C.

The fully tiled master bedroom en-suite contains a large shower enclosure, pedestal wash basin and W/C.

Bedroom 2 has a separate shower room and wash basin.

outdoors

Visitors have unlimited use of the heated indoor swimming pool and, just a short stroll away, is the beautiful 3 mile long Putsborough beach. There are patio doors from the lounge area providing access to the balcony where guests may relax and absorb the uninterrupted full length views of the 3 mile golden sandy beach towards the seaside village of Woolacombe.

Just outside the private front entrance to the apartment, there are some useful hooks providing ideal hanging/drying space for wetsuits.

This Swimming Pool Addendum below becomes a part of the Terms and Conditions for the property booked. The visitor(s) will use the swimming pool at the visitors’s own risk. The owner nor Choice Cottages will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries sustained by the visitor and/or the visitor’s occupants or guests when using the swimming pool, and the visitor will indemnify the owner & Choice Cottages for any actions resulting from injuries to the visitor and/or visitors’s occupants or guests. The Visitor and all guests are responsible for their own safety whilst using the swimming pool, as it is unattended and the Owner does not provide a lifeguard. Children aged under 16's and non-swimmers must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
