About this Holiday Cottage

Situated on the beautiful Bratton Mill estate on the edge of Exmoor National Park, The Folly is a well appointed riverside retreat ideal for couples looking to book a tranquil short break or holiday. The scenic North Devon and Somerset coastlines are set a short drive way with towns such as Barnstaple, Braunton, Croyde, Woolacombe, Coombe Martin and Martinhoe all within easy reach for a day out. Exmoor Zoo can also be found closeby.

Inside

This charming studio annexe has a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player, dining area with two chairs, traditional country furnishings and double bedroom. The kitchen area is well appointed with a ceramic two ring hob, combi oven/ microwave/ grill, larder fridge with freezer compartment, beautiful china, glassware and cutlery.

The lovely bathroom has a double ended roll top bath, Victorian chandelier with dimmer, circular blue and white porcelain Georgian washstand (plumbed in) with a double handed pitcher underneath and a WC.

Outside

Guests can relax on the large lawn beside the Folly and wooden sun loungers are provided. There is also a patio seating area with built in barbecue plus parking for two cars.

The Folly is part of Bratton Mill, a 28 acre garden estate with woodland, pastureland and plenty of wildlife. Riverside strolls and circular walks can be enjoyed closeby.

Other Things to Note

The rental price includes central heating, bed linen, Wi-Fi service and towels but please bring outdoor/ beach towels. We also supply basic kitchen non-perishables and cleaning supplies.

An ironing board and iron are also supplied.

Check in time is after 3pm and please vacate by 10am on your final day.

Due to the location of the property, there is no mobile phone reception.

Please note that children are not accepted.

Two dogs are welcome at a charge of £15 each per stay.

Short breaks of two nights or more may be available.
