Snaptrip says

Elworthy View is a well-received cottage in Devon, praised for its peaceful location, comfortable furnishings, and secure garden, particularly suitable for dogs. Guests enjoyed the friendly hosts and the welcoming touches upon arrival. While some mentioned minor issues with Wi-Fi and cleanliness, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, though there was a single complaint about cleanliness which seems to be an outlier. The majority of reviews do not mention any issues, suggesting that the property is generally kept to a high standard.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views, peacefulness, and proximity to local attractions and amenities. It's on a working farm which adds to the charm, though one guest did not enjoy the narrow lanes and steep hills.

Guests consistently mention the comfortable beds, spacious lounge, and the secure garden for dogs. The property is described as a relaxing retreat, with only a few comments about the need for more crockery and serving dishes.

The cottage is well-equipped according to guests, with a well-fenced garden and a kitchen that has everything needed. However, some guests noted issues with Wi-Fi and a lack of serving plates. The farm setting was appreciated, though the early farm work may affect those wishing to sleep in.

While several reviews mention a warm welcome and thoughtful touches like cream teas and fresh scones upon arrival, as these are personal experiences and not guaranteed amenities, it is not possible to accurately score this category.

All was comfortable and clean. Garden was a good size for our Dog Poppy. The views were fantastic from garden Karen the owner was lovley and accommodating. Drift the farm dog is so loving and lovley. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again. Lots to visit, but car is essential due to distance of other places to visit.

On arrival Karen came to see if everything was ok . Their was biscuits, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge what more could you ask for after a long drive. The garden is well enclosed so the dog had plenty of outdoor space . Would highly recommend Elworthy View and wouldn’t hesitate staying there again.
