In a timeless, rural location within the sheltered Heddon Valley is Tucking Mill. Situated between Combe Martin and Lynton here you are surrounded by the beauty of Exmoor and close to a maze of bridle ways and footpaths. This stylish, semi-detached cottage has been newly refurbished throughout to create a beautiful home from home. Be welcomed on arrival by greenery, birdsong and the babbling of the nearby River Heddon. Venture inside to discover a bright and spacious open-plan living space, retaining gorgeous original features including the original bread oven, a stone hearth with a woodburning stove and beams. Cosy up in front of a roaring stove with your loved ones as you relax on the sofas or curl up with a good book. The kitchen with its sleek surfaces and stone floors supplies everything you’ll need to prepare a delicious breakfast or evening meal. On the first floor, three tranquil bedrooms await, each beautifully styled and waiting to provide a good night’s rest. Take in the beautiful views of the valley from your own private garden where you’ll find a table and chairs for al fresco dining. If you can bear to leave, there is much to do nearby; stroll along the river to Heddon's Mouth Beach and bask in the sun, before venturing to the close-by Hunter's Inn for a hearty pub lunch. Spend the day in Combe Martin, before getting up close to the animals in the local Wildlife & Dinosaur Park. Walkers will love the area’s extensive trails, including West Country Walks hiking area. Head to the picturesque Lynton where you can take a ride on the water-operated cliff railway to the charming harbour at Lynmouth, where the views en-route are truly breathtaking. Also you may wish to walk to the spectacular setting of the Valley of Rocks, which is about a mile walk from Lynton. Make the most of your location in Exmoor National Park and balance on the ancient Cross Tarr Steps, visit the quaint Working Watermill, and climb up to the highest point of Somerset, Dunkery Beacon.
