Barnstaple lies at the end of the magnificent Tarka line railway journey, which takes you through the spectacular North Devon countryside of wooded river valleys, rugged moorland and a stretch of coastline, plus close by is the picture postcard coastal village of Clovelly. We were warmly greeted and shown all the facilities. The cottage was tastefully appointed and very comfortable. We felt at home immdiately. At night it was so quiet and we slept like babes. We also had a meal brought in one night which was delicious, with no need to stagger home afterwards. The icing on the cake was the hot spa which we thoroughly appreciated and made good use of. All in all a superb weekend retreat.

Add bonus of hot tub in the most delightful setting. Everything was fo beautifully presented, even the Christmas tree, such a lovely touch. The offer of in house menu is brilliant, fantastic quality and quantity. Do not pass up this opportunity to book this property.
